There are plenty of reasons why anyone might include the Querétaro on their list of Mexican colonial city to visit or live in.  Querétaro has mild year-round weather, welcoming people, impressive food and drink scene, and a vibrantly youthful vibe. It maintains a modest and quaint feel despite being a significantly large and modern city. And we’ve only scratched the surface!

Its excellent location and modern infrastructure make Querétaro a privileged city. It offers an excellent quality of life, an array of historical sites and various tourist attractions, thus, the UNESCO declared the city a World Heritage Site in 1996. The historic city center holds treasures such as colonial architecture, peaceful alleys, squares and gardens, museums, and a buzzing nightlife.  Visit the Templo de San Francisco de Asís, the Casa de la Corregidora or the Aqueducto de Querétaro in order to begin your taste of this colonial city.

The Cervecería Hércules brewery will bring delight to the craft beer connoisseur.  In addition to many home brews on tap, it offers excellent cuisine. The facility is housed in a defunct textile factory in the Hércules neighborhood of Querétaro. It features a variety of micro-enterprises and a small theater as well.

A colonial city that will never disappoint!
